It’s the highest output engine Cadillac has ever created, and it’s built entirely by hand.* To celebrate this feat of engineering, the assembler places a signed plaque prominently on the engine cover.

MAGNETIC RIDE CONTROL

TRANSMISSIONS

The 10-speed automatic transmission, standard on CT4-V and available on CT4-V Blackwing, delivers lightning-fast shifts. CT4-V Blackwing boasts a 6-speed manual transmission with active rev matching and no lift shifting, finished with a hand-polished, 3D-printed medallion atop the gear shifter to honour the true art of driving.

FRONT PEDESTRIAN BRAKING

Front Pedestrian Braking can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision with a pedestrian it detects directly ahead of you. It provides pedestrian alerts and can even automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking. The system works at speeds between 8 and 80 km/h during the daytime. It has limited nighttime and low-visibility performance.

AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

At speeds between 8 and 80 km/h, Automatic Emergency Braking can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision with a detected vehicle you’re following. The feature uses camera technology and can automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking.
